The primary school is a welcoming and inclusive Catholic school in the heart of Salford, where every child is nurtured, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Key Stage 1 team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs, helping them access learning and thrive in a caring, structured environment.
About the Role
You will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs in KS1
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans
- Support social, emotional, and behavioural development in line with school values
- Adapt and differentiate learning resources under guidance
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children with SEN, particularly in EYFS or KS1
- Is patient, nurturing, and flexible in their approach
- Has excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning
- Can work well as part of a team and independently
- Supports the Catholic ethos of our school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
