SEN Teaching Assistant

The primary school is a welcoming and inclusive Catholic school in the heart of Salford, where every child is nurtured, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Key Stage 1 team.

About the Role

You will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs in KS1
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans
• Support social, emotional, and behavioural development in line with school values
• Adapt and differentiate learning resources under guidance
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children with SEN, particularly in EYFS or KS1
• Is patient, nurturing, and flexible in their approach
• Has excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning
• Can work well as part of a team and independently
• Supports the Catholic ethos of our school
