Teaching Assistant

Exciting opportunity for a new Early Years Teaching Assistant for a Ashton based Primary School, SK15.

This position is to start in Easter, covering a scheduled staff absence. The school have said the cover is needed for the remainder of the academic year however there may be a need elsewhere in school for the successful applicant for next academic year. This role is needed on a full-time basis, 8.30am-3.30pm.

A brilliant Primary school in Ashton are looking for a new Teaching Assistant to support their Early Years pupils.  You will join a friendly and supportive team who are keen to ensure the success of their pupils are top priority.

The school are looking for someone who is:

• A reliable and professional person, capable of maintaining a positive attitude towards supporting children on a 1 to 1 basis.
• Have great communication skills, working alongside the class teacher to ensure the children’s needs are met.
• Adaptable and able to respond to challenges throughout the day.
• Have experience of supporting early years children, either professionally or personally.

The ideal educator will have knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and knowledge of how to support children at the EYFS stage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
