Job Description:
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education in various secondary schools. You will deliver engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Providing feedback to the regular classroom teacher about the students' progress and any issues that arose during the lesson.
- Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
