Job description

A primary school in Wellingborough are seeking an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in September.

The SENCO is exclusively looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for SEND, experience with Autism and a willingness to learn.

Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant will see you working with a high-functioning autistic child in KS1 on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting other children in the classroom. A lot of the work you do with the child will be outside of the classroom and in nurture groups, so you will be gaining a varied experience.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position provides the perfect opportunity for a graduate seeking some hands-on experience, ahead of future studies or teacher training. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, as this SEN Teaching Assistant position is full-time, for the entire academic year. The child's progress and development will be paramount to your dedication as their SEN Teaching Assistant.
