A "Good" SEN School set in the Eggington area of Derbyshire are currently looking for support staff for September.

The school cater for students with High Functioning Autism and Challenging Behaviour from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 5.

All classes within school will have a maximum of 7 students - this helps students have a fantastic opportunity to learn on either a 1:1 basis or small group basis. The school also have a big focus on outdoor education such as sports and going out into the community.

The ideal candidate:

Experienced and comfortable with Challenging Behaviour
Previous experience within an Education, Youth or Residential setting
Knowledge of Makaton and PECs (Desired but NOT essential)
Team Teach trained (Desired but NOT essential - can also be done through Teaching Personnel)
Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service (or willing to apply)
Experience with Autism
An interest in a sport is also desirable
