Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual to join a primary school in the Barry area as a Teaching Assistant.
No prior teaching experience required – just the right attitude and a genuine desire to support young learners.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
-
Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
-
Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
-
Provide a safe and nurturing space for learning and development
-
Offer constructive feedback to encourage pupil progress
-
Promote a child-centred approach to learning
-
Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviour when required

Feel comfortable working within a school setting

Be eager to develop their own skills in an educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
