Attendance Manager – NN4
Salary: £29,748 - £33,461 per annum (Actual)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 3 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Permanent
Are you an experienced Attendance Manager looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ lives?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in the Northampton area to recruit a committed and strategic Attendance Manager. This pivotal role will be key in setting the culture and direction of the school with an initial focus on improving attendance and punctuality.
You will lead and coordinate a dedicated attendance team, working closely with students, families, pastoral teams, and external agencies. Alongside managing daily operations, you will also ensure compliance across all student admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead on the development and implementation of attendance strategies

Monitor and report attendance data to leadership and external stakeholders

Provide professional development for staff on attendance responsibilities

Oversee statutory compliance and support legal processes where necessary

Drive parental engagement and support student welfare initiatives
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. You must also be confident in managing a team, interpreting data, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
