Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Required – Trafford Primary School, M31, Partington – Part Time (Afternoons)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a “Good” 1.5 form entry primary academy in the Partington, M31 area of Trafford. Due to a resignation within their Early Years Department, Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their Early Years Department. As an SEN teaching assistant you would be supporting a number of children with Autism and would need to have a nurturing approach.
The school can offer state of the art facilities and come with an experienced and highly skilled Early Years staff team. In addition, they can offer a bespoke and individual early years outdoor learning environment to allow the children to learn freely and flourish. The early years department is pushing for “Outstanding” so you would become part of an inspirational and aspirational staff team.
The position would be on a long term basis and would begin ASAP.
- Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
- Supporting Autistic Boy in the EYFS – not violent but struggles with communication.
- Nurturing and patient approach
- Speech and Language support for 2 non verbal children
- Part time position – Afternoons only – 5 days per week
- Following a new “Lego Play Therapy” programme.
- Trials ASAP – initially until the end of the year.
