Based in heart of Peckham Rye, South East London, this SEN School is a positive and focused community. They are committed to continual improvement, high quality education, within an open and welcoming environment.
The range of disabilities requires the contribution of a multidisciplinary team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and special school support assistants, all working co-cooperatively with the teaching staff to meet the individual needs of the students.
This great SEN School are looking for a teacher to cover a maternity leave role full time long term. This wonderful class is key stage 3, made up of 8 pupils with mixed needs, some autistic students and others with complex needs. The teacher who is going on maternity leave will be finishing at Christmas, so the school will set up a programme of cover and familiarisation before then and therefore this role will start ASAP / first week of January.
The ideal candidate;
• Must have QTS
• Experience teaching SEN pupils
• Available long term full time and immediately
• Must be able to provide reference contact details
