Are you an enthusiastic teacher of Art and Design looking for your next role?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school in Stockton-On-Tees to recruit for an Art and Design Teacher to start in September 2021 for the academic year. The sucsessful applicant will be required to teach Art and Design to KS3/KS4, and will be required to plan, prepare and mark students work. The reason for the opening is due to a member of staff going off for an operation, so has been a planned absence and will be until July 2022.
The role
If successful, you will become part of a successful and welcoming Arts department where you will be responsible for teaching Art and Design through to KS4.
Therefore, be responsible for:
- Planning and preparation
- Delivery of lessons
- Marking and assessment of pupil's work
- Attending parent's evenings and additional school functions
- You will teach both practical and theoretical lessons
Essential:
- Hold a child only workforce DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Have two graded references
- Experience teaching Art and Design to KS3/KS4
- Be available full-time from September 2021
- Experience in raising attainment in Art and Design for all abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
