A school located in the heart of Blackburn have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a fantastic behaviour support specialist to work alongside a child in the Year 3 class who is struggling to work effectively in the mainstream class room. The School has the funding to take a member of staff on a temp to perm basis on a 32 hour contract per week. The role will start from the first week in September and continue for as long as the child is in school.

I spoke to the Head teacher in school on Friday and she mentioned that the child does have a number of challenges and the person who comes in to work alongside him will have to be strong with behaviour management and have a calm and nurturing approach to the child. You will be expected to use a number of strategies and techniques to ensure the child can maintain a good level of learning and progress in line with expected levels. The Head teacher also mentioned the class teacher is one of the best in the school and is more than happy to sit down and plan with the individual who comes in and works with the child.

In order to apply for this role you must have a Level 2 or above qualification in Childcare or Working with Children and hold a good standard of written and spoken English. In order to apply for the role you must send over a tailored CV to the role and a cover email specifying why you are suitable to the role.
