SEN Tutor Role – Christchurch

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors in Christchurch to deliver one-to-one tuition for learners who benefit from a tailored, flexible approach.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Christchurch & surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available

About the Role
As an SEN Tutor, you’ll work directly with students to create engaging, personalised learning experiences that help them build confidence and achieve their goals.

  • Plan and deliver individualised tuition sessions
  • Support learners with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Encourage independence and positive learning behaviours
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit each student’s needs
  • Deliver sessions in home or community settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to travel across Christchurch and nearby areas
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
