Job description
Make a Lasting Difference – SEN Educators Wanted
TP-Tutors is recruiting passionate SEN Educators for in-person tuition across Christchurch and Surrounding areas.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a way that works for them.
At TP-Tutors, we support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are unable to thrive in a mainstream classroom. Many of our students have autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, learning difficulties, or are currently out of education. They need more than just a tutor – they need someone who understands them, believes in them and can help them rediscover a love of learning.
We're looking for compassionate, patient and adaptable Educators who are passionate about making a genuine difference through personalised 1:1 tuition.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering engaging, in-person 1:1 tuition tailored to each student's individual needs.
- Building trusting relationships with children who may have experienced barriers to education.
- Supporting students to develop confidence, resilience and independence alongside their academic progress.
- Creating a calm, positive learning environment where every child feels safe, valued and able to succeed.
We're looking for Educators who:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Understand the importance of adapting teaching to suit different learning styles.
- Are patient, empathetic and resilient.
- Can build positive relationships with students and families.
- Have a genuine passion for inclusive education.
Whether you're a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, teaching assistant, learning mentor or SEN specialist, we'd love to hear from you.
Why join TP-Tutors?
- Competitive hourly rates.
- Flexible working to suit your availability.
- A dedicated consultant to support you every step of the way.
- The opportunity to make a real, lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.
- Rewarding work where every session helps a student move forward.
If you're passionate about supporting children with SEN and want a role where you can truly change lives, we'd love to welcome you to the TP-Tutors team.
