Empower Young Minds in Christchurch

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and compassionate tutors in Christchurch to provide tailored Maths and English support to young people with Special Educational Needs.

Position: SEN Tutor (SEND specialists encouraged to apply)
Location: Christchurch and surrounding areas
Working Hours: Flexible – part-time or full-time options available

Your Role

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 or small group tuition sessions
  • Tailor lessons to support learners with autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs
  • Build a supportive and structured learning atmosphere
  • Provide tuition within students’ homes or local community environments
  • Encourage academic progress while boosting confidence and independence

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Ability to tutor Maths and/or English effectively
  • Based in Christchurch or able to travel locally
  • A calm, adaptable, and understanding approach
  • Awareness of safeguarding practices and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
