TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors in Christchurch to provide structured, one-to-one tuition in Maths, English, and Science.

This role is ideal for educators who are committed to targeted intervention and want to help learners with additional needs rebuild subject knowledge and academic confidence.

Role Overview

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Christchurch – homes and community settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Your Impact

  • Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with EHCP targets

  • Adapt core subject content to suit individual learning profiles

  • Support pupils with SEND and SEMH

  • Reinforce key concepts to close attainment gaps

  • Monitor and report on measurable progress

Essential Criteria

  • Strong knowledge in Maths, English, or Science

  • Experience supporting students with SEN

  • Skilled at breaking down content into manageable steps

  • Calm, patient, and adaptable

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
