Job description

TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors in Poole to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition in Maths, English and Science.

This position focuses on structured, targeted intervention to help learners with additional needs rebuild subject knowledge and confidence.

Role Details

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Poole – homes and community-based settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured lessons linked to EHCP outcomes

  • Differentiate Maths, English and Science content to meet learner needs

  • Support pupils with SEND and SEMH

  • Close knowledge gaps and build subject fluency

  • Track attainment and provide regular progress reports

Requirements

  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area

  • Experience supporting SEN learners

  • Ability to break down subject content into accessible steps

  • Professional, patient and resilient approach

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
