Are you an experienced SEN educator seeking a flexible role with meaningful impact?
TP Tutors is expanding across Poole, and we are looking for committed SEN Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 and small group tuition to children and young people with additional needs.
This role allows you to deliver education that is tailored, impactful, and life-changing.
Role Details
Position: SEN Tutor (1:1 & Specialist Support)
Location: Poole – learner homes / community settings / flexible delivery
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time
How You’ll Make a Difference
✔ Plan and deliver structured sessions aligned with EHCP targets
✔ Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and other additional needs
✔ Assess academic starting points and create achievable learning pathways
✔ Re-engage pupils who are struggling in mainstream education
✔ Use differentiated and therapeutic-informed strategies
✔ Build strong, supportive relationships to promote emotional wellbeing
✔ Provide regular progress updates to families, schools, and TP Tutors
Your work will help learners rebuild self-belief, develop independence, and enjoy learning again.
✅ What We’re Looking For
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Knowledge of inclusive and adaptive teaching approaches
• Experience with SEND and SEMH learners
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
