Job description

TP Tutors is seeking compassionate and skilled SEN Tutors across Poole to provide high-quality tuition in Maths, English, and Science.

You’ll deliver structured, individualised support to learners with additional needs, helping them regain confidence and achieve sustained progress in core subjects.

Position Details

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Poole – home and community-based tuition
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured sessions linked to EHCP outcomes

  • Tailor Maths, English, and Science lessons to learner needs

  • Support pupils with SEND and SEMH challenges

  • Identify and close knowledge gaps

  • Provide regular progress updates and reports

We’re Looking For

  • Strong subject expertise in at least one core subject

  • Proven SEN support experience

  • Ability to scaffold and adapt learning effectively

  • Professional, resilient, and nurturing attitude

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
