TP Tutors is expanding in Bournemouth and we’re looking for dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition in Maths, English, and Science.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide structured, targeted intervention that helps learners with additional needs rebuild confidence, re-engage with education, and achieve measurable academic progress.

The Role

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Bournemouth – homes and community-based settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time available)

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver structured lessons linked to EHCP outcomes

  • Differentiate Maths, English, and Science content effectively

  • Support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs

  • Close learning gaps and develop subject fluency

  • Track progress and provide clear attainment reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject

  • Experience working with SEN learners

  • Ability to simplify and scaffold complex topics

  • A patient, resilient, and professional approach

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
