TP Tutors is expanding across Christchurch and is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 and small group tuition in Maths, English and Science.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver focused, core subject support that helps learners with additional needs close gaps, improve attainment, and re-engage with education.

Role Details

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects (Maths, English & Science)
Location: Christchurch – learner homes and community settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with EHCP targets

• Provide tailored support in Maths, English and/or Science

• Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet individual needs

• Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and additional needs

• Monitor progress and provide clear feedback to families and schools

• Promote academic independence and confidence

Requirements

• Experience teaching or tutoring core subjects

• Background working with children or young people with SEN

• Strong understanding of adaptive and inclusive teaching approaches

• Excellent safeguarding knowledge

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
