1:1 SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel are looking for qualified teachers, cover supervisors and recent graduates of any subjects to deliver 1:1 tuition on a weekly basis for looked after children. Sessions usually last for 1 to 2 hours depending on the needs of the child and have flexibility on the timings that these can be held.

The tutors will:

  • Ideally hold QTS (qualified teacher status), an overseas teaching degree converted by Naric or 1st/1:2 Degree
  • Prepare tutoring sessions to meet the students individual needs
  • Provide regular feedback to senior leadership team, care team, caregivers and students
  • Ensure the learning materials used are up to date and relevant to the subject area
  • Act in a professional manor at all times
  • Report directly to the agency on a regular basis about any changes to the tuition
  • Strive to ensure that the individual reaches their full potential
