A successful secondary school in Yeovil is seeking to appoint a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students through creativity, imagination and artistic expression. The successful candidate will encourage students to explore a range of techniques and mediums while developing their confidence, practical skills and appreciation of the arts.
The Role:

Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inspiring lessons.

Support students in developing their artistic skills and individual styles.

Assess, track and provide constructive feedback on student progress.

Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Art department.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
-
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creativity.
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
