A successful secondary school in Yeovil is seeking to appoint a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students through creativity, imagination and artistic expression. The successful candidate will encourage students to explore a range of techniques and mediums while developing their confidence, practical skills and appreciation of the arts.

The Role:

• Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inspiring lessons.

• Support students in developing their artistic skills and individual styles.

• Assess, track and provide constructive feedback on student progress.

• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Art department.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creativity.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
