I am currently working alongside a thriving secondary school in Yeovil that is looking to recruit a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to become part of their dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about inspiring creativity and developing students’ artistic skills in a supportive setting.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Plan and deliver a broad curriculum that encourages creativity, experimentation, and self-expression
• Assess and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that nurtures artistic talent
• Contribute to school life, including clubs, exhibitions, and enrichment activities

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and creativity
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Encourage students to explore and develop their own artistic style
• Be enthusiastic, proactive, and a team-oriented professional
