A successful secondary school in Weymouth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about bringing Geography to life and encouraging students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, promote independent thinking and support students in achieving their full potential.

The Role:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging and challenging lessons.

• Support students with their academic progress and personal development.

• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor achievement.

• Contribute to the continued success and development of the Humanities department.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school environment.

• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
