Full-time 1:1 SEN TA Support Role- Bolton (Little Lever) BL3

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a teaching assistant who is experienced with SEN to work in one of our local schools in Little Lever, Bolton.

The role is to start after the Easter Half-term (19th April) and will be for the whole of the Summer Term, with the school offering a permanent contract for the ideal person. The child is a reception child who has a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain development which has resulted in severe mental and physical disability. The role will entail 1:1 educational support, adapting and planning learning activities to support inclusion (alongside professionals and the class teacher). There will also be personal care- changing and feeding, as well as hoisting. 

The school is a small mainstream school, so even though this is a 1:1 position they strongly believe in inclusion and are looking for someone who will work well as a team and get involved with the everyday running of the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
