SEND Teaching Assistant – Wythenshawe
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full Academic Year

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wythenshawe for the full academic year starting in January.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support with personal care and emotional well-being where required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
