Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity for a role as a 1:1/small group learning mentor, working in a Plymouth School. This role will entail the candidate to carry out valuable daily planning of activities, which will aid in the learning and social development of the student. Your key responsibilities will include the support of well being, building of confidence, and aiding the learning of school work, in and out of the classroom.

The successful candidate:

  • Will be enthusiastic and engaging with pupils and staff
  • Calm and empathetic
  • Good sense of organisation and planning
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Supportive when working with mental and social health
  • Must have a background working with young people and within the education or health care sector.
  • Need to have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or similar.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
