A full time position for a Youth Worker to commence after February half term. A Setting situated in Central Manchester and currently looking to appoint a Youth Worker who can directly influence the development of pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour. This position is a full time and permanent position so it would be perfect for individuals who come from a youth work background. Due to the nature of the role and being required to travel around various sites the successful Youth worker will need to have a driver's licence and access to their own car.
The Setting is a Pupil Referral Unit which is located in Manchester and runs across 9 sites. The pupils who attend the Setting often show signs of challenging behaviour and can be prone to aggressive outbursts, so the Setting are ideally seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant who has significant experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
The ideal Youth Worker will have:
- A qualification related to Youth work or Behaviour
- Significant experience working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour
- An in-depth knowledge of crisis prevention tactics
- A driver's licence (essential for travelling across various sites)
