KS2 Class Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)
Salisbury
Start Date: After Easter Holidays
Contract: Full-Time Temporary (Until May Half-Term, Potential Extension)

A welcoming and supportive junior school in Salisbury is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays.

This is a full-time temporary position running until May half-term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment
  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Managing an average-sized class with a small number of pupils who may present some challenging behaviours
  • Working closely and collaboratively with support staff and additional adults in the classroom
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS2
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
  • Be confident, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
  • Work effectively as part of a team, liaising with support staff and senior leadership
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Be able to provide reliable, recent references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
