Art Teacher – Secondary School (Blackpool)

Full-Time | April 2026 – July 2026
Location: Blackpool
Contract: Full-time, temporary

Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking for a new opportunity this spring? A vibrant secondary school in Blackpool is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their team from April 2026 through to July 2026.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students to develop their artistic skills, confidence, and understanding. You’ll play an important role in helping pupils prepare for assessments and encouraging them to express themselves through a wide range of artistic media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons for KS3 & KS4 students
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students with coursework and exam preparation
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the wider Art department and school community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience delivering KS3 and KS4 Art is essential
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to inspire creativity and engagement in learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
