Required at a Bolton based secondary is a youth work teaching assistant who can provide support to pupils who struggle to engage within lessons.
Due to a gap within our client schools support department, this 11-16 mixed sex comprehensive seek to appoint a teaching assistant on a full time basis. Applicants are required to hold previous experience supporting the learning of secondary aged pupils and will be confident building strong relationships with individuals.

• Working closely with individual pupils across all subject areas
• Excellent secondary school located on the border Wigan and Bolton
Within this role you hold a range of responsibilities and will have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the learning of pupils who are often disengaged within classes, as well as occasionally lead classes in the absence of pupil’s normal teachers. Applicants are required to hold previous experience supporting the learning of secondary aged pupils and will ideally be educated to degree level (Desirable – not essential).
Located on the outskirts of Bolton, close to Westhoughton this school has consistently been judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’ in all areas. Located just minutes from the M61 the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Wigan, Salford, Leigh, Atherton and Bury. The school offers on site parking to all members of staff and is easily accessible via transport from Manchester City Centre.
