An inspirational school in the Hull area are currently seeking a confident, proactive and proficient teaching assistant to provide 1:1 literacy and numeracy support to Key Stage two pupils.
The post is due to start in December and is full time (however, part time work could be negotiated for the right candidates.) The estimated length of the placement is initially one term; however it is highly likely that the placement will be extended.
Although mainstream, the primary school caters for a variety of students with SEND, such as Downs, dyslexic students, autistic students and those who require additional literacy and numeracy support. An additional focus group of the support you would provide are PPI students, as well as a small number of EAL students.
Successful candidates will have experience of one to one work with pupils of all abilities, they should be willing to develop their own resources alongside the class teachers within the school and be willing to get involved in school life.
