Location: Charlton

This welcoming school requires a Teaching Assistant for their Year 6 classes. The Church Of England School has exceptional care and love which is shown to all in its community with deeply rooted values of compassion, truth, love, trust and loyalty. The school is looking for a candidate to stimulate and aid in improving the levels of Literacy and Numeracy of the Year 6 pupils.

The successful applicant will be working with a group of up to 30 students in a two form entry school and is required to have previous experience specifically with students in KS2 or graduates who have a thorough understanding of the KS2 UK curriculum. Applicants must hold the appropriate qualifications and be available for interviews immediately.

The role involves general teaching assistant cover, supporting the teacher while in class as well as giving extra support to specific pupils who are finding the understanding of Numeracy and Literacy a little more difficult. The school needs the teaching assistant to be passionate and forward-thinking and have the ability to motivate students in their learning.

In return the school offers welcoming and supportive staffs that are willing to share ideas and guide new members through their time at the school. You will also have the support of your dedicated consultant who will guide you through your entire interview process.

The school is located in the Borough of Greenwich and is a short walk from Charlton train station and is easily accessible via public transport.
