Year 5 Class Teacher Required

  • Full time fixed term contract
  • Start date, February 2019
  • Little Lever, Bolton, BL2
  • An average sized Primary School
  • Salary (£22,023 - £37,496)

Are you experienced teaching working within upper KS2? Are you able to demonstrate Good teaching practice? Do you have a real passion to make a difference?

If so a larger than average Primary School in the Little Lever area of Bolton is currently looking to appoint a teacher to work within their Year 5 class, starting in February. The role is a full time position and is due to continue for a term, with the possibility of being made permanent for the right person. The school has a mixed catchment area with a range of pupils from a range of different backgrounds and so requires someone who has a real passion to make a difference, with a patient, caring and nurturing approach to their teaching. The school is very passionate about ensuring that both pupils and staff are supported and valued for the work they do. In addition to this the school is also keen to develop staff from within with a real opportunity to become a valued member of the KS2 team.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a minimum of a year experience working within a KS2 setting.
  • Be able to demonstrate Good teaching practice.
  • Have a strong classroom presence and be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Have a good knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Be an effective communicator and a good team player.
