Year 4 Teacher - Southgate

Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with a partner Primary School in the Southgate area of the London Borough of Enfield, to recruit a Year 4 Class Teacher to start on a full-time contract, beginning in September 2018.

The school is easily accessible, a 6 minute walk from Southgate Station (Piccadilly line). The school is two-form entry, with extensive grounds including a large field, which allows for many opportunities for outdoor learning. Well resourced, the school has a Library, Music room, Drama room and Art room, which is accessible for staff and students. The school environment is warm and welcoming with pupils highly motivated to engage in learning. Their most recent OFSTED inspection (2017) found them to be a 'Good' school, with pupils demonstrating a strong sense of pride in their school.

The shortlisting criteria for this role includes:

  • Holding UK QTS, with a PGCE specifically relating to Primary Education
  • Practical up-to-date experience and working knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Child workforce DBS on the Update Service (we can help you to obtain this)
  • Good references from previous employers

The ideal Teacher will:

  • Experience of teaching a Key Stage 2 class - ideally Year 4
  • Have the ability to develop, foster and sustain high quality relationships with children and adults
  • Display creativity and an ability to inspire and engage pupils through the planning, preparation and delivery of highly stimulating, motivating and well sequenced lessons
  • Comply with, support and promote all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to child protection, equal opportunities, racial equality, health, safety and security, confidentiality, behaviour and data protection.

Pay - £170 - £200 per day
