Year 4 Teacher - Salford (M7) primary school

  • Year 4 teacher needed for a maternity cover starting on the 25th February 2019

A primary school in Salford (M7) is currently looking for a teacher to cover a maternity leave in the Year 4 class and will go on until the end of the academic year.

This larger than average Salford primary school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to hit the ground running and carry on the high standards of teaching the Head teacher expects. You will be expected to carry out full class teaching and school responsibilities and embrace and promote the school's strong community ethos. In return, the school can offer you an inclusive and community centred environment and a strong senior leadership team to support your planning and lesson preparation including HLTA's to cover any PPA time.

The school has a larger than average number of pupils with special educational needs and an ASC and SLCN specialist provision to support pupils with additional needs. Because of this, teaching lessons with experience of differentiating lesson plans. Teaching assistants are also provided in class rooms.

The school is looking for a year 4 teacher with/who is:

  • Understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in Key Stage 2
  • Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards, has high expectations of behaviour
  • Passionate about teaching in KS2 raising pupil potential and achievement
  • Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context

Located in Salford (M7) with good transport links, this primary school has recently been graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is looking for a KS2 teacher to come in and uphold the high levels of teaching standard and promote a kind and inclusive environment where pupils can achieve their potential and dreams.

The school is a successful, happy school with high standards and a relentless determination to provide the very best for all.

The head teacher is looking to see CV's over the half term holiday and will be looking to see teachers for interview/lesson observation in November.
