Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
The Role
You will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to engage with learning, develop independence, and reach their full potential. This may include 1:1 support or working with small groups.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant experience working with children or young people with autism (school, SEN setting, care, or similar)
- Ability to support pupils with a range of needs, including communication and sensory differences
- Full-time availability during school hours
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
