Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Upper Key Stage 2 – SATs Support)
Location: Bury, BL0
Pay: £15–£19 per hour (AWR compliant)

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a local primary school in the Bury (BL0) area to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support Upper Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on SATs preparation.

Start date: After half term
Contract: Long term role until Summer
Hours: 8.30- 3.30

The role will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning in Upper Key Stage 2

• Delivering targeted SATs interventions (small group and 1:1 support)

• Working closely with the class teacher to reinforce core skills

• Supporting pupils’ progress, confidence, and wellbeing

• Assisting with classroom organisation and learning resources

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Have experience working within Upper Key Stage 2

• Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs

• Be proactive, patient, and committed to supporting pupil progress

• Work effectively as part of a school team

Pay & benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of £15–£19, depending on experience
