Reception Teaching Assistant – Warrington

Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class within a welcoming Warrington primary school.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, helping children settle into school life and supporting their learning and development throughout the day.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting children across Reception
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Supporting phonics, early reading and early number work
• Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
• Supporting children with their social and emotional development
• Working as part of the wider school team

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children in EYFS or Key Stage 1
• Be patient, caring and enthusiastic
• Have strong classroom skills
• Be confident supporting children's learning and behaviour
• Have excellent communication skills

This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA, Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner looking to move into a school-based role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
