Year 3 Teaching Assistant required for School in Kilburn

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking 3 x teaching assistants on the behalf of a reputable Primary School located in Harlesden.

About The Role:

This is a full-time position from 8:30 to 16:00 to begin in January. Your role will consist of working as a general teaching assistant providing support across Lower KS2. You will be responsible for:

- Supporting the classroom teacher

- Working with small groups of children who are performing below the National Average

- Delivering guided reading, literacy interventions and Maths interventions on a 1:1 basis

- Supporting children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and global learning delay

- Observing pupils and tracking pupil attainment

About The School:

This is a lovely two-form entry Primary School that is located a short distance away from Harlesden Underground station which is situated on the Bakerloo Line. It is a multi-cultural Primary School with over 45 different languages spoken with children from different ethnicities and faiths. There is a supportive senior leadership team in place and training is provided to all members of staff.

- You have at least 6 months classroom based experience

- You have at least 6 months experience supporting children with learning difficulties

- You have a good command of the English Language

- You are flexible and able to use own initiative

- You have a valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application immediately
