Year 3 Teacher - Tameside (M43)

Teaching Personnel is working alongside this school to appoint an excellent year 3 teacher on a full time, long term basis. The position is to start immediately.

The role will be a full time teaching role in the Key Stage 2 department, with a lovely year 3 class. It is to start immediately and will be ongoing with the high possibility of continuing for the rest of the academic year.

In this ofsted rated 'good' school, students make good progress and achieve great results. High standards at the end of Key Stage 2 are well above average. Teaching throughout the school is good, and in the latest ofsted inspection, the teaching in Key stage 2 was described as 'outstanding'. The school therefore wants to recruit a year 3 teacher who is passionate about raising attainment. The broad curriculum provides experiences that motivate pupils to learn. There is a wide range of opportunities for pupils to enjoy additional activities in sports, drama, music and singing. The school has prioritised the teaching of mathematics and English, in order to raise standards. Teachers' have high expectations for their students, which reflects well in their results.

The Tameside primary school has a good reputation. The children are very well behaved and are polite and courteous towards other students and staff members. They are very attentive in lessons and enjoy the interesting activities that the teachers plan. They really love to learn and support each other. The children are known to be very proud of their school and are also known for their 'impeccable' behavior around school.

The school has a very supportive system for all staff members and teachers are encouraged to flourish in their careers. Experienced teachers and NQTs are encouraged to apply for this role, which will start immediately.
