Providing pupils with the chance to grow and pave their way to become a positive citizen of the community.
The role:
This role will require possible candidates to provide one to one support to a groups of students with special educational needs. There are multiple students across a range of years that require additional support, this may involve providing group support and adapting work to their ability. Being able to monitor and evaluate their pupils progression and provide suitable feedback is essential, similarly they must be able to adapt and support their needs throughout.
The ideal candidate:
- Must have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
- At least 1 years classroom experience
- A valid DBS
- ideally team teach trained or willing to undertake the training
The school:
Based in the heart of Acton this school is looking for a positive and independent teaching assistant to contribute to the learning of their pupils. It is a two form entry school with numerous specialised departments. With it's multicultural community they require a member of staff to support the learning of pupils with special educational needs. Being closely connected to all areas of the pupils lives they are involving their family life, educational progression and personal development.
The school is easily accessible by numerous train and bus services, it is a 5 minute walk from West Acton station and is connected by numerous bus lines, including the 440.
