Experienced Teaching Assistant needed!

Teaching Personnel are aiding with the recruitment of a KS1 Teaching Assistant for one of their partner schools based in the South Manchester, Wythenshawe area. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to begin work on a full time basis in January for the remainder of the academic year.

The school graded "GOOD" on their latest OFSTED report is looking to continue the good standards they have set and kick on to achieve greater things. The school is said to have a "broad and balanced curriculum. The wide range of activities offered to pupils often brings learning to life".

The role would require you to offer support across all levels of the Year 1 class from the lower achieving pupils all the way to the higher achieving pupils. The support would be in all core subjects such as reading, writing and maths as the school want to prepare the pupils in the best ways possible as they prepare to enter Year 2 and their exam year. it is essential that the successful candidate for the role be comfortable with delivering small group Phonics interventions. The class is said to be very well behaved with little to no out of the ordinary behaviour and has a few mild SEN pupils currently in the class such as learning difficulties.
