Challenging Chorley Primary School require a floating KS1 teaching assistant.
- Part time hours available.
- Experience working in either Year 1 or 2 is preferable
- NVQ/BTEC or CACHE level 2 or above qualification is a necessity
Are you level 2 or above qualified? Are you experienced in KS1? Then maybe this is the role for you…A school, located in South Preston, amongst a number of low socio-economic households, have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a Teaching Assistant to work across a number of classes in KS1, starting part-time from the second week in September 2016. The Head teacher has been in role over 5 years and has developed strong working relationships amongst her staff, parents and children, which has been successful noting the challenging backgrounds from which the children come from. She has commented on the role saying ‘this will be challenging due to the nature of the children we have here…the successful candidate will need to be able to follow our behaviour policy and build strong relationships with the children and parents very quickly- we need someone who has the experience and the personality’.
The working hours are yet to be confirmed, however the expectation will be that the successful candidate will work every day during the mornings. This is a good opportunity to secure yourself long term work in an Ofsted GOOD school.
To apply for the above role or to find out more information on the working hours etc then please do not hesitate to contact me in the office on 01772 842155 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
