Due to a sudden resignation, Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Salford (M6) Primary School to appoint a Year 1 teacher to add to their 2 form entry key stage 1 department after Easter. This Salford primary school are actively looking to recruit a year for the rest of academic year, but will be in good stead when the recruit for the permanent role.

- Year 2 Teacher

- Newly or Fully Qualified Teachers

- SATS experience

- Phonics specialism ideally (Jolly and Read Write Inc.)

- Good to Outstanding Key Stage 1 Department

This Salford primary school provide a creative and independent environment for learning and their children make good progress. Results within Key Stage 1 are improving and as a the next Year 1 teacher you would be able to put your own stamp and further improve the results. You would be working alongside an experienced year 1 teacher, who is also Assistant Headteacher, in the parallel class and as such, newly and fully qualified teachers would be supported.

The school use "Read, Write, Inc." phonics so if you have experience using this scheme, this would be beneficial, however by no means essential.

The school is proud of its links with the local community and parent involvement is at the heart of how the headteacher likes to work. If you have extra curricular passions, this could be the school for you.

The role is for the rest of the academic year with the potential to go permanent for the right teacher.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
