TP Tutors is looking for experienced SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary SEN students throughout Bridport and the surrounding areas.
You’ll work with learners who may have autism, ADHD, SEMH or other special educational needs, tailoring every session around their individual strengths, challenges and learning goals.
Your Opportunity
- Pay: £25–£30 per hour
- Location: Bridport and surrounding areas
- Students: Primary and secondary SEN learners
- Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
- Settings: Schools, community venues or learners’ homes

What You’ll Do
As an SEN Tutor, you will:
- Deliver individualised tuition to SEN students
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Support primary and/or secondary learners
- Help students develop academic skills and confidence
- Encourage greater independence and engagement
- Monitor and record progress
- Maintain effective communication with families, schools and professionals
- Provide a consistent, supportive and inclusive learning experience
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with SEN/SEND children or young people
- Experience in mainstream and/or specialist SEN environments
- Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education experience
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- Ability to support primary and/or secondary SEN students
- Ability to travel throughout Bridport and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
