The Head Teacher of a larger than average GOOD Primary School in Preston have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a Y3 teacher to join their wonderful school from September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher who is passionate about making a difference every day within the classroom. 

The School: The school is located in the Fulwood area of Preston. The Head Teacher is a well driven and committed leader who ensures all staff in school are well supported and led to raising standards in the classroom. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has:

  • A proven teaching ability.
  • The ability to build excellent relationships with staff, parents and of course, pupils!
  • An excellent work ethic.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Behaviour is currently graded good, therefore somebody who is confident upholding these standards and following whole school policies.
  • Experience of teaching pupils in Lower KS2.

The role: The role is to commence from 1st September 2024. This role will be initially covering maternity leave in Y3. The expectation is that the successful applicant will take up the role on a full-time basis and be expected to plan, deliver and assess the KS2 Curriculum tailored to the pupils within the class.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
