Year 3 Teacher

  • ‘Good’ primary school in Rawtenstall
  • September 2024 start
  • Full time, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Year 3 Teacher to fulfil a full-time role within a ‘Good’ Rawtenstall Primary School. The role is initially for the 2024/ 2025 academic year.

Behaviour across the school is generally good, as is attainment with pupils demonstrating good progress across both KS1 and KS2. The Head Teacher, with who I have had close contact is friendly, reasonable, and willing to consider both experienced and Newly Qualified teachers in order to appoint the right person.

The successful candidate must:

  • Possess an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and be capable of planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
  • Be capable of tailoring learning to varied abilities and needs as to prepare each child as fully as possible for impending SATS assessments.
  • Hold an enthusiasm towards education as to establish a positive classroom environment and instil a positive attitude towards learning within the pupils.
  • Have recent experience within a Primary School and be able to provide good references from such.

The successful candidate will be welcomed by a friendly, bubbly team of core staff who are more than happy to help any new practitioner settle into the school. You would also be assisted by a full time Teaching Assistant who is familiar with the structure of the school day and other relevant policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
