Welsh-Speaking Teacher  – Bridgend

Location: Bridgend

Pay starting from £166.32 per day dependant on experience

Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a fluent Welsh-speaking Secondary School Teacher searching for a rewarding teaching role in Bridgend? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Welsh-medium teaching provision in a Bridgend secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach through the medium of Welsh and help inspire the next generation of Welsh-speaking learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Welsh-medium lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Support and monitor pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
  • Promote a positive learning environment with strong classroom management
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff
  • Create engaging teaching resources and adapt them to diverse learning needs

✅ Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS
  • Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written)
  • Enhanced DBS check (child-only) – must be on the Update Service or willing to apply
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two recent professional references (from within the last 24 months)
  • Legal right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
