Post-Pandemic Support for NQTs

We recognise that your teacher training may have been impacted by the pandemic. Many schools in Caerphilly are keen to support Welsh-speaking NQTs with shorter placement experience, offering flexible opportunities to help build confidence and competence in the classroom.

What We Offer:

  • Start Date: Immediate and ongoing roles available

  • Positions: Day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term teaching placements

  • Pay Rate: Starting from £166 per day

  • Flexible Working: Full-time and part-time roles

  • Training & CPD: Access to courses such as ALN (Additional Learning Needs), Team Teach, and Mental Health Awareness

  • Welsh-Medium Opportunities: Priority given to placements in Welsh-speaking or bilingual schools

  • Personalised Support: Work with dedicated consultants who understand the needs of Welsh-medium educators

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons through the medium of Welsh (or bilingually)

  • Support pupil development in line with the national curriculum

  • Promote a positive and supportive learning environment

  • Commit to professional development and bilingual education goals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
